 THE STORY: “Then, as now, obesity was an amusing spectacle, easy entertainment for those whose struggles were not as evident to the naked eye. Frankie hated the grown-ups, insisting he be on display. He loathed them immensely, for making this portrait. The only thing he could do was silently repeat the mantra in his head: “What Goes Around, Comes Around.” He sure hoped so.”
